We are looking for a highly motivated Salesforce Developer to join the Business Operations & Analytics team here at Niche. Your work will directly impact our ability to grow the direct sales organization at Niche. Your primary focus will be to develop solutions in Salesforce to help scale our sales organization. You will work closely with analysts on the Business Operations & Analytics team and members of the sales org to implement solutions to solve business challenges. It will also be critical to gain an understanding of our internal technical stack and all other platforms that we use here at Niche in order to help integrate critical systems with Salesforce.
During the First Month: - Learn about Niche by meeting with various team members to learn more about our company through our Onboarding meetings - Work with members of the Business Operations team to begin to understand our users, our clients, the industry, and our direct sales organization - Work with your manager and other team members to learn about our tools, workflows, and expectations - Shadow team members to learn more about how we collaborate with other areas of the business and how your role fits with external stakeholders and teams - Learn about our existing Salesforce setup and our sales team’s workflows - Learn how to query data from our databases and external data sources Within 3 Months: - Gain a deep understanding of our sales organization and how different teams work - Become the point person for all Salesforce development initiatives, working closely with the Business Operations team to understand priorities - Begin to take on Salesforce Administration tasks on an ad-hoc basis - Begin to learn the ins and outs of K-12 and college enrollment marketing, digital advertising, and how we drive value for our clients—do some self-guided research and present your findings Within 6 Months: - Identify risks and areas for improvement in our Salesforce environment. Follow best-practices to implement change. - Begin to use your experience and insights to drive strategic change in sales operations - Take full ownership of all development work in Salesforce and in other technical platforms that impact sales operations - Become the point person for Salesforce Administration tasks Within 12 Months: - You will have a deep knowledge of our product, company, and sales organization - You will develop solutions in Salesforce that dramatically impact the day-to-day of our sales team - You will be held accountable for implementing scalable solutions that impact the sales funnel and growing direct sales revenue
