Why Us

We are looking for a Salesforce Administrator to serve as the primary administrator for Namely’s CRM (Salesforce) and Financial business systems (Zuora & NetSuite). This role will partner closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes. They will be responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM and CPQ systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain our growing Business System tech stack, with a primary focus on Salesforce, Zuora, and NetSuite.
  • Design and implement configuration within Salesforce and Zuora’s subscription billing platform to support Namely business requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and business partners throughout the organization to identify system needs, document solutions and publish related processes and procedures, contribute to identifying key controls, and resolve actions for process improvement
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems, prevent problem escalation, and provide solution tracking via our inbound ticketing queue.
  • Act as the first line of support to provide issue resolution for our financial business systems (Zuora, NetSuite, etc.).
  • Suggest new tools, apps, and workflows that improve processes and experiences for both internal teams and customers.
  • Conduct training sessions as needed for new system roll-outs, overviews on system best practices, etc.
  • Document and update financial system policies and procedures.
  • Manage the end-of-month data processing for the FP&A group.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, or other CPQ systems experience, including general administration.
  • Experience serving as the primary Zuora Billings Administrator with responsibility for configuration and customization of the technical solution.
  • Must be able to visualize, analyze, communicate, and solve complex problems and make well-adapted decisions based on available information.
  • Experience in writing detailed technical specifications, testing & release plans required to develop and implement software solutions; working independently in a very fast-paced, high-growth team environment; communicating with leads across the IT teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems, or computer science.
  • 1-3 years experience in process improvement, operations, systems, and analytics/reporting.
  • Experience configuring integrations for Salesforce, using Boomi or a similar integration tool.
  • Understand and support integrations to third-party invoice and payment platforms.
  • Exposure to B2C+B2B accounting.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, be collaborative, and contribute to decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience meeting and presenting to senior business leaders.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Knowledge of SQL and Java is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with ETL tools like Boomi and Workato is a plus.
  • Experience working with/in high growth global/tech company
  • Experience with Expensify, Mission Control, Workfront, or other ERP/GL/Procurement/Expenses system.
  • Experience with JIRA or Confluence.

Day in the Life

  • System Administration (40%)
    • Act as the first line of support to provide issue resolution for our CRM (Salesforce) and financial business systems (Zuora, NetSuite, etc.)
    • Monitor Slack channels, email, and Salesforce queue for Finance system issues or requests
    • Diagnose and resolve technical problems, prevent problem escalation, and provide solution tracking
    • Design and implement configuration within Zuora’s subscription billing platform to support Namely business requirements
  • Requirement Gathering (30%)
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system needs, document solutions and publish related processes and procedures, contribute to identifying key controls, and resolve actions for process improvement
    • Facilitate preparation of business requirement documents with Finance stakeholders
  • Documentation (15%)
    • Document and update financial system policies and procedures.
    • Build and maintain collateral to facilitate knowledge transfer
  • Individual Project Work (15%)
    • Suggest new tools, apps, and workflows that improve process and experience for both internal teams and customers
    • Manage the end-of-month data processing for the FP&A group
