Revenue Operations Lead

Mercury is building a bank for startups. This turns out to be a pretty wild endeavor, so we’re looking to bring someone smart onto our team to help us scale our existing business development and partnership efforts.

You’ll manage and improve operations for our business development, e-commerce, and growth teams. This will include building scalable systems that automate processes and instill best practices, teaching company leaders about operational inefficiencies, and driving increased productivity with better tooling. Ideally, you’ll work to make sure operational needs aren’t ever felt, and the teams work on a continual stream of magic.

Here are some things you’ll do as Revenue Operations Lead:

  • Manage reporting for referral partners and other stakeholders
  • Manage reporting for sales efforts
  • Manage inbound requests for referral partnerships and all perks
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and processes
  • Create and manage landing pages for referral partners
  • Process cash bonuses, free 409As, and other partner rewards
  • Help evaluate other tools we can use to improve efficiency

You don’t necessarily need experience, but you should:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree or something you feel is equivalent
  • Be experienced with CRMs, SQL, and BI tools
  • Be comfortable talking with partners, vendors, etc. via email and phone
  • Keep track of what you’re working on even when you’re working on a hundred different things
  • Enjoy thinking about how to automate as much of your job as possible
  • Have an almost psychic level of empathy
  • Have a strong product sense
  • Be able to focus and get work done
  • Work well as part of a team and with other teams
  • Communicate complicated ideas with clarity and precision
  • Have strong organizational skills
  • Use creativity while working within difficult constraints
