Why Us

As the MMSD Salesforce Administrator, you will work in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment to build out our Salesforce org to tailor it to our needs and administer Salesforce for the entire business. You will assist us to migrate the organization from a shared Salesforce org to a stand-alone org. In this role, you will partner closely with the business to identify our internal customers’ needs and build out the capabilities to meet them.

The Salesforce Team

We have had great success in recent years in distributing our annuity and life-LTC combination products through our financial institution relationships. To further this success, we must evolve our strategy to reach more customers where they are, on their terms, with the products they need. For that reason, we formed a dedicated third-party distribution channel, MassMutual Strategic Distributors (MMSD) which launched in March of 2021. MMSD will continue to build on the annuity and life-LTC combination strategy and expand the product solution offering to include life and disability insurance. MMSD’s strategy is to aggressively grow top-line sales by expanding existing and establishing new partnerships with financial institutions (wirehouses, banks, broker-dealers) and making significant investments in technology, sales, operations, marketing, and product development. Our strategy will be driven by dedicated teams across the enterprise where we will prioritize a dynamic, agile, and entrepreneurial culture.

The Impact

Your Efforts Will Be Critical To The Success Of Our Organization And Will Assist Our Wholesalers In Meeting Their Sales Goals By - Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products. - Upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized integration. - Managing Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups. - Importing sales department leads, contacts, and other data. - Performing data maintenance tasks, including duplicate entry cleansing. - Providing training and support. - Documenting processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables. - Preparing reports and dashboards for sales and other departments. - Formulate and define business and/or systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of industry requirements. - Devise or modify procedures to solve highly complex problems considering limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. - Provide analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into a proper business and/or system requirements. - Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.

The Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience working with Salesforce
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce and its capabilities
  • Experience with Territory Management inside Salesforce
  • Exposure to working in an Agile environment
  • Excellent Excel Skills
  • Success in building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong training experience and presentation skills

The Ideal Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Integrating Salesforce with Marketing Cloud
  • Financial services/insurance industry experience, including third-party distribution
  • Experience with Jira or similar system

Salary Range - $100,000-$130,000 + annual bonus *Commensurate with experience
