Salesforce Developer

Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance. Represent the full-breadth of IT capabilities and executes solution design and development of systems, computer telephony integration, for internal and external customers. Partners with other internal teams to provide strategic thinking and liaise between internal/external customers and the appropriate IT teams to fulfill needs from infrastructure requirements to custom program development. Seek out opportunities to leverage existing solutions for Ashfield Healthcare and its other North American affiliates.

What will you be doing?

  • A solid understanding of Salesforce technology is a must
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data require a review of a variety of factors.
  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Build productive working relationships internally and externally.
  • Work in collaboration with colleagues within the organization to identify best solutions/ approaches
  • Assist with technical estimates internally for solutions development and support.
  • Responsible for solution analysis, development, and user experience
  • Perform: analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation
  • Required to interface with internal/external customers to gather requirements
  • Perform database administration in terms of modifications to the structure, ensuring encryption of sensitive data, manipulating and cleansing data as appropriate
  • Contributes and participates in test plans and performs unit level testing
  • Develops interfaces between company and client information systems
  • Resolve technical problems pertaining to the use of existing information
  • Participates in generating end-user support documentation and training material
  • Will be required to work out of hours when business requires
  • Ensure all incidents, change requests and problems are logged appropriately
  • Continuously evaluate and discover new technology solutions
  • Participate in the full life cycle of the project through to delivery while complying with Ashfield requirements and development best practices.
  • Communicate a solid understanding of project scope, strategy and work required to achieve objectives.
  • Coordinate with team to ensure project is planned, executed and delivered according to project timelines.
  • Take part in regular status meetings with the IT Manager and development team to ensure that work being performed aligns with business needs and priorities.
  • Review and analyze application effectiveness and efficiency, identify and manage potential change and guide and coach the development team to improve the process, resolve system issues and minimize risk.
  • Must safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality by following the guidelines set forth in the Privacy and Security Rules of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • Provide on-call and after-hours coverage, as necessary.

What do you need for this position?

Technical skills required: - Required to have at least 2-3 years working experience - Administration of a Salesforce Health Cloud and Service Cloud solution - Apex - Ability to assess the impact of new requirements in Salesforce, including all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes. - Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality. - XML - JavaScript (including jQuery and jQuery UI) - HTML5 - CSS3 - Additional knowledge and experience preferred: - Salesforce admin certified (ADM 201) - Call Center & CSO operational experience - Visual Basic Framework 4 and above) - Web Services - Microsoft SQL Server 2008 to present version - Competent in architecting client-side apps and web applications - 3+ years in Objective C, Java, iOS SDK, XCode, Xamarin - IIS Administration - SQL Administration - Azure DevOps - A practical understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Understanding of current industry climates including sales, potential opportunities, managed care environments and competition - Professional certifications
